In regard to the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi I am a / we are an
student, scholar, activist
About me / us
Born in the West in this life. Educated and informed by Satguru Parampara in the oral tradition of the principles of Integral Yoga, according to Swami Vivekananda, and Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. I am interested in the dialogue and questions leading to a deeper understanding of the epistemic errors arising from the Western premise "Know Thyself" studied from the perspective of the Upanishadic ontological inquiry into "Who am I?"
My / our projects, events, campaigns, research, publications
I am writing on the enlightened women of India, past and present, and what they have to offer to women today. And I am naturally interested on how the conversation and publications on enlightened women can change to improve women's identity and the way women mother the future leaders in an egalitarian global society. Re. Yoog Vasistha, Devi Mahatmya, Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Major Upanishads, Sitayana and Ramayana...
Also, on how the cultural and hermeneutic (semiotic) differences in the meaning of the term and ontological concepts of enlightenment, as understood in the West and Eastern mysticism, result in societies of consumption, materialism and externalization vs societies of internalization, spiritualism and mysticism (also vulnerable to invasions and colonization).
I am also interested on how Moksha, the stories of enlightened women and Ram Raj inform modern leadership theories.
And on the issues around the secularization of God in uncertainty theory and systems theories.
I hope to join a forum of scholars in a dialogue along these lines, with views of publishing their patterns from artistic and scientific perspectives.
My research is taking me to study how language delimits or liberates epistemic outcomes and ontological currents, along the lines of Edward Hall's research on high context-low context languages. The contribution of research on transformative leadership and servant leadership are some of the tools that bring to the conversation hoping to create a more integral dynamic which can contribute to social justice.
