Movie: Midshot- an experiment with truth based on Gandhi- Godse ideology.

Watch Now- you can contact me at

Synopsis: "MID SHOT- an experiment with truth is about the travails of a director, Ram Bhardwaj who tries to unravel the assassination of his ideal, Mahatma Gandhi. He starts making a film called G2 which explores the Gandhi- Godse ideological divide. The film, while still in the making, to the director's dismay, becomes a subject of controversy and the distorted projection of it even leads to communal riots. Meanwhile, pressure mounts on the director by vested interests to ideologically slant the film. How the movie on Gandhi then becomes an experiment with truth in his own life and makes him search for answers in his inner self, is what the movie is all about.

Hello Peter,

It has been a while since we communicated. Volunteers of Shanti Fund have continued our efforts to promote message and philosophy of Gandhiji amongst more than 10,000 youngsters each year.

We are planning a large celebration next year. We will be building a memorial of Bapuji. We will be celebrating "Youth for Peace" celebration in over 100 schools.

I wanted you to let me know of outstanding Gandhian speakers living in USA.

Hope to hear from you.

I admire what you are doing and would be happy to assist you in your work. Not sure how, but perhaps with the site or for an event. Having grown up in a family whose values and thoughts were Gandhian, i realise how much others are doing, i feel the need to be more useful to society.

Dear Sir
Greetings from Cameroon. Concerning my book on Gandhi, someone criticised me for including the name of Obama among leaders influenced by Gandhi. What do you think about that? Obama himself acknowledged his being influenced by Gandhi. I proposed he could put those theories into practice. I will be glad to get your reactions.
What led me into this was the article i saw below your picture here: Obama would choose to dine with Mohandas K. Gandhi Started Sep. 8, 2009.

India Redefined the movement which I started last year& got award for ,'The Best Humanitarian Initiative of the Year
has started three different projects- "I Care", " Educate India", "Develop Your Village".Join & be with me in Redefining India.

India Redefined draws its inspiration from Gandhian Movement which was a revolution focused on independence. It was also about specific actions like non- cooperation by citizens. We are just trying to apply many Gandhiji's principles’ in this era, in this society and during these times. Maybe in a different flavor! Maybe the context is different! Maybe it’s a different world! But the goal is same! He also wanted India a better place to live in.

Thousands of people have joined this movement across the globe but we have only 37 Chapter co-ordinators till now to take on the responsibility, by rotation in different cities of India. It is voluntary work. If you want to suggest anyone's names for Chapter coordinator, then please send me a mail regarding this at
