Sorry ricky i could not come on your call on skype as i was busy in writing blog, Now i am in Village Attwal putting wild grass on the tin roof to avoid cold. love and blessings,
In some ways. We live 30 miles from the closest "large" community, about 500 folks so we do have many friends we see regularly. Not too many visitors at our house because we are relatively isolated, four miles of dirt road to get to our place. We've not had any rain since last September so this year the wildflower, which is usually lovely in March and April, has been almost non-existant. With luck, we'll be getting 5-7 inches of rain in July and August.
Thankyou very much Ricky for your comments on You are Your Doctor. Last night I open the Skype but could not talk to you. Hope and pray that you are all well.
No, I do not find it to be so. Though people live widely scattered they are very social. We see each other once a week or more, dependent on desire. I spend three or four days a week at home by myself, then go to dinner once a week and normally there are one or two visits with friends. Life is peaceful but we are not alone the way I would think of when considering life on a desert island.
I was going through lot of change in my life and career lately and could not bring my self to attend to my social obligations, though it is a lame reason, but true for not responding to your message promptly, thank you very much for your wishes.
hope to be in touch in future,

Thanks Riccardo,
I may have unintentionally got on this site through a friend in India who is Gandhi scholar. I live on Prince Edward Island just off the east coast of Canada. I know little about Gandhi but being in my 80's I knew about his great work in India and South Africa. I have been a Baha'i almost all of my life and I do know we have much in common in our beliefs. In India today we are in great need of Vinoba Bhave's teachings and ideas on the problems of rural poor. The poor inhabit areas richly endowed by nature. The constitution of India has bestowed on them the right to such wealth to be used by their communities. Today that wealth is being exploited by large businesses which leads to widespread conflicts, sometimes violent. India needs the teachings of Vinoba most, and the understanding of international community.
Sorry i didn't see your comment earlier ! And thank you for the same. I'm glad you like the idea of a khadi day and the date : i wish those who can make it happen do something about it !
Best wishes

Where is Valsesia? What's it like to live there?
Peace,

Dear Riccardo,
I am glad to read your remarks on Sudarshan Foundation Trust.
It will be a great pleasure for me to discuss more on these aspects which you reflected upon.
