When Gandhiji had been carring on his experiments with Truth, during the Noakhali Yatra in 1947, all his clleauges felt embereced and left him alone. So much so, Acharya Vinoba Bhave also differed from him. The issue was his Experiments in Brahamcharya. The issue became so much controvercial that editorial board of his entire periodical publications jointly resigned, including Kishorelal Mashruwala. Gandhiji was not prepaired to listen to any body. He was going as per his "inner voice". This controversy did not end and he was assasinated on the 30th Janauary 1948.

Basic question here remained unanswered, was Gandhi wrong on the issue of Brahmcharya or his colleagues were right? If his colleagues were right then why Gandhi's name is being glorified? Why his so called followers are making him divine and propogating his idol worship? He is even being personified by some of his followers,"Incarnation of Budhha."

After rerading Gandhiji thorowly, and trying to understand his way of life for the last 46 years, I fail to understand as to why Gandhiji's name is being 'blindly' taken and many unnecessary attributes are attached after his name like,
"Gandhiji was Shanti Ka Pujari",(devotee of Peace) ? Or the latest tribute by the UN declairing his birth day, 2nd October, as "Non-violence Day"?

Would the enlightened intelectuals of Gandhi, please through some light on this issue? I shall be very grateful.
