- US singer songwriter David Stern released a song on Gandhi. That what he says about it:
"This song came out of a deep need inside of me to promote peace. With so much militarism and over-reliance on brute force in government cultures, there is a need to foster a culture of peacemaking which will make peaceful means of solving problems mainstream rather than always having wars ... to choose love over force. That's why Gandhi was so great, he lived and demonstrated overcoming brute force with love on an international level."
