More than 2% of Indian population (more than  20 million Indians )  is reported to be differently abled persons and   more than 90%  of them belong to lower income group, without knowing as to where the next meal would come from.


In tune with the Gandhian philosophy of self reliance and honest work ethics even in adverse circumstances, Nandini voice for The deprived, a Chennai based NGO is encouraging the differently abled persons to acquire skill and self employ themselves.
Nandini   Voice for The Deprived ,has pleasure in inviting you to the  exhibition sale of products made by differently abled persons.

VENUE:            Mangayarkarasi Magalir Manram Hall,
                                (Next to Corporation School)
  No.3, 11th Cross Steet, Shastri Nagar, 
  Adyar, Chennai-20 
TIME:              10.00 a.m.  to 7.30 p.m.
The objective of organizing this exhibition is to encourage the differently abled persons (orthopaedically disabled, hearing impaired, speech impaired, visually impaired and mentally ill persons)  to acquire skill and self employ themselves and provide them the marketing support for their products.  The exhibition is also aimed at sensitizing the public about the capability of the differently abled persons and provide them an opportunity to help the cause of the differently abled persons.
Products made  by differently abled persons such as  wooden decorative pieces, terracota items, batik paintings, glass paintings, artificial jewellery, acrylic paintings, agarbathis, candles, plastic wire baskets etc.  would be showcased by  orthopaedically disabled, hearing/speech impaired, visually impaired and mentally ill persons. 
Please do visit this significant exhibition   and encourage the differently abled persons, who need the society's understanding and support ,  in their self employment pursuits.
