Is Tamil Nadu (India) condemned to go down with Tasmac liquor shops?

It is sad and distressing that Tamil Nadu government has announced in the assembly that prohibition will not be imposed in the state. Obviously, it shows that total lack of concern of the AIADMK government for the social welfare and the plight of poor women, who are the worst hit due to rapid spread of liquor habit. To say the least, this is the most irresponsible statement of the Tamil Nadu government.

The statement that it is not possible to implement prohibition  is totally…

CONVERTING AGRI LAND FOR DEVELOPING CITY IN ANDHRA PRADESH- CONVERTING AGRI LAND FOR DEVELOPING CITY IN ANDHRA PRADESH - GANDHIJI WOULD NOT HAVE APPROVED THIS

It is shocking that 30,000 acres of fertile agricultural land has been put to use for developing Amaravati as capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Obviously, this implies that Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh thinks that developing  a city is more important than cultivating rice or pulses. IS THE AGITATION BY RETIRED SOLDIERS IN INDIA A GANDHIAN ACT ?

It is extremely doubtful as to whether Gandhiji would have approved the present agitation by retired soldiers in India, demanding  one rank one pension.

Soldiers and farmers …
