Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia was a famous Indian freedom fighter and a socialist political leader. He was born on 23 March 1910 in a village Akabarpur in Amedkar Nagar district Uttar Pradesh. While in Europe he attained the League of Nations Assemble in Geneva. He completed his Ph.D. thesis on Salt Satyagraha. He was a closed associate of Mahatma Gandhi up to Quite India Movement.
