School wide non-violence Intitative

My son, age 6, and I live in a what is considered a rough neighborhood. I don't know I think Americans are spoiled. We don't have much but have each other, plenty of love , our garden and each other. I work in his school so two years ago we began the Legacy Garden, We donated plants that had been in our family for 30 or more years.We wanted the students to take pride in their school and community. About me / us
single father and a 6 year old son interested in spreading peace and non-violence
My / our projects, events, campaigns, research, publications
I work in a elementary school in the lower socio-economic area of Baltimore county MD,Many of my students look to us for unconditional love and to help with their basic needs. Every student has great potential and needs someone to believe in them. We have started a Legacy Garden and recycling committee in an attempt to claim ownership of the community.
I am / We are member of the following institution(s)
I am a proud member of the human race and thus it is my duty to care for sentient beings.
