India Redefined draws its inspiration from Gandhian Movement which was a revolution focused on independence. It was also about specific actions like non- cooperation by citizens. We are just trying to apply many Gandhiji's principles’ in this era, in this society and during these times. Maybe in a different flavor! Maybe the context is different! Maybe it’s a different world! But the goal is same! He also wanted India a better place to live in.

I got Global Youth 2009 Award at India Habitat Center on 12th August, International Youth day. The awards were presented by Sh.Prakash Jaiswal Minister of Coal, Statistics and Programme Implementation, Sh. Ajay Makhan Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Sh.Sultan Ahmed Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism to 18 different people from India & abroad in different categories I was the sole awardee in the social sector. The function was telecast live.

- There are many from South Asia who network on LinkedIn. Have you thought of posting on some of the group discussions there? It would be nice to raise awareness, if possible, among professional cadres of the importance of such initiatives. You will reach a real diaspora if you can find the right way to "market" on LinkedIn. I am wondering, for example, how to promote Gandhi's birthday in October to this broad audience. Maybe we can think about this together? Let me know what you think.
