- A lifelong follower, admirer and student of Bapu's methods, I have a shrine area for Bapu and whenever I despair, I turn to him. I almost feel that I lived and worked with Gandhiji, and have many books and publications. While it is a true inner struggle to adhere to Bapuji's principles, I aspire to instituting them in my own person and my own life.

- See a painting I have made of Bapu. I am anxious, as an animal rescuer and a wildlife rehabilitator, to author a paper on the treatment and future of sheltering animals under a Gandhian model.

Hello everyone:
I have this driving thought in my mind: to go to the Gulf and see with my own eyes what is REALLY going on down there. An act of civil disobedience if necessary. I believe that we are daily being lied to through the teeth of the people who have perpetrated this ecological disaster. Someone from outside needs to bear witness to this unprecedented event, regardless of authority, if not for "We the People", then for the Earth herself.

I am considering undertaking a fast - to death if necessary - here in the USA, to get our Govt. to "Quit Politics" when it comes to making sure that everyone and especially the poor have access to quality health care that is fully subsidized. it will take alot of courage and effort, and we will need alot of media to make it's message clear. Whilst we here in America are now blessed with a President who is sound of mind, body, and spiritual practice, the every day American still needs to have a better understanding of Bapu's principles and ideals. The younger generations here cannot even relate to something as recent as the Vietnam War as other than a "historical moment", and most of them don't know who Gandhiji was, or have even heard his name.
