I am glad to send you news about our traditional Gandhi Week. In 2009 we are celebrating the 28th edition, with many activities extending throughout the month of October and in several Brazilian cities. The opening on Oct. 2, includes Gandhi's favourites sung by Meeta Ravindra, a wonderfull monologue by actor João Signorelli, a round table with local governmental representatives, and a keynote speach by the Indian Ambassador in Brazil, entitled Why Gandhi, why today?… Continue

Gandhi in Argentina

I have recently (Nov 27, 2008) been to Argentina to speak about Gandhi at the Festival of India organized by the Embassy of India in Buenos Aires. has started three different projects- "I Care", " Educate India", "Develop Your Village".Join & be with me in Redefining India.
India Redefined draws its inspiration from Gandhian Movement which was a revolution focused on independence. It was also about specific actions like non- cooperation by citizens. We are just trying to apply many Gandhiji's principles’ in this era, in this society and during these times. Maybe in a different flavor! Maybe the context is different! Maybe it’s a different world! But the goal is same! He also wanted India a better place to live in.
Thousands of people have joined this movement across the globe but we have only 37 Chapter co-ordinators till now to take on the responsibility, by rotation in different cities of India.It is voluntary work. If you want to suggest anyone's names for Chapter coordinator, then please send me a mail regarding this at ranjanakanti@indiaredefined-a4c.org

- It is nice to see you in this. Do you remember I met you in New Delhi while you visited New Delhi and Gandhi Peace foundation. Late Shri Ravindra Varma asked to organise some program for you and I arranged one program at Delhi University. Now I am retired but still active with Gandhi's work. I am trying to start Global Gandhi Forum to attract youngones towards his thaughts. We are launching a campign violence free India(why India-but world).
We plan to attract some one thousand youth to devote one year of their time and mobilise society against terrorism and using arms to resolve their conflicts. we need support from Moral Leaders like you.
I will tell you more later.
