Gandhi statue vandalized in SA

Is it an act of sheer cowardice or frustration? Last Sunday, a man has tried to paint it white and erase all remarks on the statue, creating panic among the South African Police and in the Indian subcontinent as well to some extent.

The politics of GreenPeace and India’s affairs

GreenPeace, the leading international NGO has finally been barred from its activities in the country as the Government orders a 180-day trial intimidation and blocking of 7 bank accounts of the organization on 9th of April. Even as we seen this move as a sincere and global vision of the government, one shall not deny the success stories of the GreenPeace in India when it campaigned for the Nuclear Liability Bill,…

AUM.

Thanks indeed Shri Balamurali Balaji on my article on Marital Rape. You have taken pains to go into the problem in depth.

The Law in Bharat does not recognise marital rape. Our Vedic Dharm speaks volumes on Vedic Dharm bu there is not a word on marital rape.

Frankly speaking, it is a concept of the West where Women's Lib movement , inter alia, created a chasm between the husband and wife. We must encourage them to live together and NOT end up as single parent.

Sasneh,

Brigadier(Retd) Chitranjan Sawant,VSM

For N. Ashok Kumar

I agree India and China has taken different routes.  For first 65 years if independence, India adopted the Western socialist/ communist ideas, tried to destroy the ancient Indian culture and so did China.  Morals and ethics were ignored by the leaders in both countries for material prosperity.  In China it it is estimated that around 70 million Chinese died as a result of government policies.  British were very good at controlling media and school text books to show that they were very honest and benevolent rulers.  The truth was far from it.  British educated believed everything they read in text books and came to hate everything Indian - morals, ethics, scriptures, leaders, etc.
