Namaste Aseem ~ You would be an ideal critic, and advisor, to help me in my attempt to create a universal model that can be used by family units to conserve assets and property through generations, and use those assets to assure higher education for future generations. Your background should make you the perfect "sounding board" as I attempt to weave together concepts of sustainability, trusteeship, equality, governance, etc., into a model that will be legal in India. In America, this can be accomplished by creating a "charitable trust". California is on the "cutting edge" of modern capitalism. According to the Attorney General of California, in 2004 there were over 90,000 charitable organizations registered in California. Why? Because California families are creating charitable trusts to protect their family wealth. Someday, every family will be able to have their own charitable organization created to conserve family wealth through generations. This will happen quietly, without a revolution. It is the natural evolution of capitalism. The Mahatma was the only one who foresaw Trusteeship. But the Trusteeship evolving in California, and elsewhere, is not a centralized trusteeship where the wealthy few provide for the masses - but a decentralized trusteeship where every family unit becomes more economically self-reliant though the generations. The draft Trust Instument/bylaws that I am using is posted as an attachment (Cloversweet Trust), on your discussion (re: Philosohies of Gandhi and Trusteeship). I don't know how to do it under Indian law, but I am sure the basic concepts can also be used in your country. All blessings to you and those you love. ~ Chris Wroth
