Nation celebrates the 80th anniversary of historic Dandi March today. Mahatma Gandhi led Dandi March from Sabarmati Ashram on the 12th of March 1930 which shook the British Empire.

After walking 320 Kilometers on foot from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi- a small village at Seaside, Mahatma Gandhi launched civil disobedience by taking a pinch of salt to protest the tax imposed on salt.

AIR Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that Gujarat State Congress has organized symbolic march from Sabarmati Ashram to Kochrab Ashram this morning to mark the occasion.
