ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) - Ela Gandhi, the granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, will meet with several key individuals on Monday at the Southern Christian Leadership Conference National Headquarters.

The meeting will be held to corroborate the Kingian International Global Nonviolence Conference Series scheduled for July 25, 2012 - August 6, 2012 and the 2013 Kingian International Global Nonviolence Conference Series slated for July 2013.

Gandhi will briefly discuss the reenactment of the Salt March that will take place in South Africa during the Kingian International Global Nonviolence Conference Series.

Meeting attendees include Dr. Bernard LaFayette, Jr. - National Chair of National SCLC, Dr. C. T. Vivian-Vice President of National SCLC, Jay Patel-University of West Florida (UWF) Board Trustee, Captain (retired) Charles Alphin, Sr., Detroit, MI., and Art Rocker- Chair of Operation People for Peace, Inc and Chair of Florida State Unit SCLC, and others.
