5-day Gandhi Katha discourse from tomorrow at Rajkot

Rajkot, Jun 19 : The discourse on the life of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, on the lines of Bhagavad Gita, will be held for five days from tomorrow at the Rashtriya Shala here.

Narayan Desai (87), a Gandhian and son of Mahadev Desai who was secretary to Mahatma Gandhi for long time, will deliver the discourse. Its timings are from 1600 hrs to 1900 hrs, Mr Dobaria, managing trustee of the Rashtriya Shala, said.

The Rashtriya Shala of the city is known for its historical importance and is closely associated with the life and activities of Mahatma Gandhi, he said.

The place displays segments and souvenirs associated with historical events of non-cooperation movement and India's fight for independence, Mr Dobaria added. (UNI)
