Dear Friends, 

On this special day we have a special gift for you! The beautiful Sanskrit chant "Ahimsa Satya Asteya" with English subtitles that strings together the 11 principles that Mahatma Gandhi lived by. The chant was sung in the Gandhi Ashram every morning and evening and is still sung in many schools and colleges in India. 

The main vocals are by @Kamini Natarajan (www.kaminimusic.com). The video has been produced by Peace Troops(www.peacetroops.org). 

Enjoy the song, it is the perfect accompaniment to contemplate and meditate over the principles to live by. Share the wonderful message with your friends too.

Peace is very necessary for the progress of every one and country also. We can get it through Non-violence. So everybody follow the non-violence for peace and progress.

All are requested to remain vegetarian for whole life if not possible at least in the month of OCTOBER in every year.

To show true devotion to Gandhi we must (In his words) Step Down From Our Pedestals and go and live with the people who are suffering and experience their hardships and their sorrows. This means in the words of Vivekananda going to the POOR. ..... If we want to see God dont go to the banks of the Ganga and dig a hole to sit in and meditate .........Go and look into the eyes of the Poor and by doing that you can truly see your God.
To me all talk and discussions on Gandhi are just that Talks and discussions... .... It means nothing for the people who are suffering from 6th world poverty they can not eat words or drink words. Gandhi's message was his hope to awaken the world to Satya and Ahimsa.and compassion and love. At the end of his life he was AFLAME with LOVE. That is what is needed to do justice to his memory.
